Symbol of Faith
The Cross of Caravaca is a religious symbol of medieval origin associated with the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, in Murcia (Spain).
According to tradition, in 1231 the relic—a patriarchal cross with two arms—miraculously appeared in a Templar castle when some priests were going to celebrate mass and the crucifix was missing. It is said that two angels placed it there, which turned the place into an important pilgrimage center.
Over time, the cross became a devotional object widely spread in Spain and Latin America, associated with protection, miracles, and Christian faith. Today it remains a religious, cultural, and historical symbol of great relevance in Caravaca and beyond.
About us…
At Joyería Caravaca, Chavo, we are inspired by tradition, craftsmanship, and the value of what endures. Since 1964, we have created jewelry with soul: unique pieces that are born from the craft, from the care for details, and from the affection for our land.
We work with noble metals and select quality materials, combining artisanal techniques with current processes to achieve lasting jewels, full of shine and meaning. Among our most cherished pieces are the Caravaca crosses, symbol and insignia of our city, made with the dedication that such a special heritage demands.
We manufacture by hand and turn each design into an unrepeatable piece. Because for us, each jewel is not just an ornament: it is a story that is worn.
